Congratulations to all seminarians, students, and faculty on the successful conclusion of the academic year.
The 2020-2021 academic year was concluded today with a Mass and barbecue. Our fourth year theologians are preparing for their priestly ordinations in the coming weeks. You can view the ordination schedule HERE. We also congratulate the graduates of the Lay Formation Programs.
Looking back at the challenges we have faced, as well as some notable accomplishments, everyone here at Saint John’s feels great encouragement and hope for the future of the seminary. We have persevered with priestly and lay formation despite the challenges of the pandemic. Adapting to the circumstances and making every effort to protect the health and well-being of the community, we have developed the necessary platforms to continue instruction both on-line and in-person.
"As we all prepare to disperse and set out for ordinations, pastoral assignments, retreats, and vacations at the end of the seminary year, the question for all of us is: how will we detect the presence of God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit today and in the days to come? And just as importantly, how will we help others to do so?", said Fr. Salocks in his homily to the seminary community.
