On the evening of November 22, 2022, the Saint John’s Seminary community suffered a great loss as Board member, alumna and longtime supporter Alice “Bonnie” Rodgers returned to the Lord.
Bonnie’s affiliation with Saint John’s Seminary began in the year 2000, when she enrolled in the Master of Arts in Ministry program. She graduated with the MAM degree’s inaugural class in 2002 and went on to work at the CatholicTV Network, where she served as director of the network’s expansion efforts and producer of its signature talk show, This is the Day.
There, Bonnie became a devoted supporter of Saint John’s Seminary and worked tirelessly to promote the seminary’s mission. In 2015, she began her 7-year tenure on the Board of Trustees and the seminary’s Mission Advancement committee. In these roles, she advised and helped guide many of the seminary’s advancement and development initiatives in recent years.
Bonnie’s faithful service and generous support of Saint John’s Seminary leaves a lasting legacy for generations of seminarians and students, both in Boston and across New England.
